It is!
It's kind of a shame to put that pickguard on it. It almost looks like the bass is wearing a lobster bib.

Too late for this occasion, crustacean. He already liked your post!Don't tell @LowEndLobster!![]()
Older HHs were in series IIRC
Did they change that somewhere along the line? I was curious so I looked around and I only see an HH diagram for parallel wiring. This one is dated 2016 though.

Not all of them in my experience. Living in DFW with as many guitar shops as Starbucks, I have had the opportunity to play a lot of them. YMMVLuckily the SR specials balance superbly. In the lap you get a little dive without a strap, but perfect balance with a strap sitting or standing.
I deleted the post probably just as you were responding. As soon as I hit post , the answer to my question came to my remembrance. It due t the fact that the BFR's in question dont have pick guards.Interesting. My first thought was "What color hardware do those basses have?". But, if I'm not mistaken, all three of your Stingrays have gold hardware, don't they?
Maybe it's just a BFR thing? Will be curious to see what the answer turns out to be.

Love your channel.Luckily the SR specials balance superbly. In the lap you get a little dive without a strap, but perfect balance with a strap sitting or standing.

I just love these Special5’s. To me they are a perfect blend soundwise of the pre Ernie Ball 2bands, the Ernie Ball 3bands, with a touch of Fender warmth added in.
Da Maestros playing is straight fire!! He makes it look so easy.![]()
He has done some nice cosmetic changes, like adding the white pickup cover, the green abalone knobs, and the pearled pick guard. Looks sharp!! But oh that sound!!I love that green color.
Ahhhh. Well, that answers that question.I deleted the post probably just as you were responding. As soon as I hit post , the answer to my question came to my remembrance. It due t the fact that the BFR's in question dont have pick guards.![]()
I had one of those green basses in 4HH. I kept the black pickup & added a tortoise shell pickguard. Was so sweet looking. He has done some nice cosmetic changes, like adding the white pickup cover, the green abalone knobs, and the pearled pick guard. Looks sharp!! But oh that sound!!
