Heads up!! Anyone looking for a discontinued Maroon Mist Special 5? GC has one listed for around $1650 . Located in Bakersfield California . I love that finish. Hope someone here the desired that color can snag it. I dont think they realize that its a Special .

I agree entirely. It's like I can finally get the sound I always thought my ~2011 Stingray should have been making.

REALLY digging this Turner Multicoil pickup with the stock 18v preamp.

Another heads up. Someone mentioned in another thread about StingRay Specials that they got word from Ernie Ball that new colors would be announced in NAAM in April. That means if you want one of the current offerings , you had better get find one in stock and buy it . Or you could wait on a used one to become available.
I sure do hope they bring back the classic colors of natural , white, and Inca Silver. But my first choice would be to offer that Ocean Teal Sparkle with gold hardware and white pickup.

I would still like to see some type of purple like the Firemist Purple. I drool every time I see one. The Amethyst is nice also, but I can't get past the white pickups and pickguard.

Yes to inca silver particularly with ebony and a matching hs. :thumbsup: That would be incredible. Silver with a brown neck… :thumbsdown:

Yea we definitely need some classic colors. Not to offer Stingray in Natural is a crime. All of these sparkly colors w black/gold hardware and weird bursts aren't my cup of tea. They should be available for those that like it, but it seems that's ALL they offer today. Let's see natural, Inca silver, blue ice, some more vintage inspired colors. Stingrays look SO GOOD in the old Fender colors or similar. They had some but discontinued all of them???
