Yes. Give or take $100-$400 either way depending on 4 or 5 sting , H or HH model .
Seeing that China made Dingwalls and MTD cost that much and more ( before tariffs )
if it’s one of their signature models , I’d can say willBold confidence that the price of USA EBMM basses are well worth it and prices accordingly .
Being made in California and the build quality that rivals boutique , I’m actually shocked they don’t cost more. Buying one on the used market has been steal of a deal for me .

Every year they have a few finishes that have $100-200 USD upcharge. Considering 2024 upcharge finishes were $2900 USD & every year they raise prices by $100.00. I was just getting a confirmation on what I thought they may cost. Not necessarily a validation of said price just thinking out loud. Honestly with the current geopolitical realities in the USA I'm not buying anything unless it absolutely necessary to maintain my household. Until a clearer picture of where financial stability will be for the non 1 percent. Even though I really want 5 HH VERY BADLY. Almost pulled the trigger on the Candyman or Brulee recently.Yes. I just stopped by my local GC, and they have TWO Ocean Sparkle 4HH basses for what they call a "clearance" price -- of $2900! That's a penny more than the regular zzounds price for that model, so I'm not sure who GC is trying to kid.

So it seems new pricing post NAMM is in place because these were 2799 just 2 weeks ago.

With the 5-string Special in my arsenal, I feel like I missed out on so many things. This bass is an absolute beast, that B string sounds so tight and powerful. I can play a lot faster on the fretboard, because of the narrower string spacing, and I just love the series mode. With bass boosted a little, treble and mid cut, it sounds like a bass synth. Also, it can be throaty; cuts through the mix even better than my 4-string Stingray Specials. Those are awesome as well, but the 5H is really something else.

I got to play a Grape Crush 5HH yesterday. Finish was so nice in person. I have tried to like the HHs and just never really clicked. Position 4 is the only one I wish I had (besides position 1 of course). I always thought the Grape Crush finish should have an ebony board instead of a rosewood, but seeing it in person, I think rosewood was the better choice.
Grape crush looks cool. I like position 2 the best when I had a HH, other than position 1
I'm think of adding a Special 4HH if I can find a nice one used. I prefer ebony boards, so let me know if you see any!

That dark blue sparkle on GC used looks like a winner. Price is fair and it’s ebony .
I called and the guy was very honest, he said it had fret sprout and a very bowed neck so I passed
There's a black one with ebony board that seems to be in excellent condition, from what they told me at least, so I'm going to go for that instead. Plastic still on pickguard and appears almost unplayed is what they said...
At least with GC I can return if there's any issue.
Lately I've been playing mostly 4 string in DGCF tuning so going to try it that way and see what I think compared to my 5H. Will miss series mode but I'll live.
