Eden WP100 Navigator for $199?

Here's a question:

Anyone think one of the higher powered ICE modules could be crowbarred into the Navigator body? I'm assuming it'd require a new power supply and some hacking. But Putnam can do it with the VT Deluxe. Wonder if he could make it work with this thing.

The Nav has a HUGE housing (rack width, 12" deep). Anyone had a look inside of one?

Hey,
Call MF, NOT GC, ask for item #485244. It should come up $199. I asked about the GC price match the $30 off over $199 deal, and they said they could do it, but GC has to have the same item IN STOCK! We couldn't prove it was, and there wasn't a supervisor present to enter the override code... However the sales rep gave me 5% off anyways. I got the WP-100 and a 2 year replacement warrantee for $209 shipped!!! I'm sooo stoked! Good luck my TB brothers :hyper:

This has to be VERY painful for many other amp carriers out there... whos buying a Sansamp RBI or a BMAX over this? You'd be insane

I did notice that the newer ones don't have hand crafted in Montrose Minnesota on the front.

This has to be painful for MF. I doubt they expected this kind of response. I wonder if Eden is discontinuing the WP-100 and gave a very low price to MF just to clear them out. I still have to believe that MF is going to lose money at $169 or even $199.

I was thinking the same thing. Eden might be dropping it from their line, hence the price drop. Still, you can't beat it. I might even order a second.

Wait, so is the general consensus now that this price is actually intentional? I kinda figured it was a mistake; I bought my Navigator years ago used for $400 and thought it was a great deal, so this is just insane. I'm tempted to pick up one of these for a M123 price match because mine didn't have the footswitch; it'd be cool to complete mine and sell off the rest for a profit. Great pre, even though I haven't used mine since I got my LMIII.

I also had no idea they made a powered version of the Navigator now. I wonder why they didn't just make it part of the WT line instead?

I just ordered mine. I confirmed the price. Here is teh transcript of the live online chat

Kyle: I do see that our previous prices for this item were much higher, but we do have this listed in our billing system for that price.

Kyle: This should be the guaranteed lowest price anywhere.

The margins have to be really really thin but I'd imagine this will be Eden taking the hit. Maybe they have too many workers sitting idle as sales have gone down & will take whatever they can? Musicians friend is probably getting a few bucks for making the deal.
The $30 coupon though is shocking & could be where musicians friend takes a hit... I wouldn't be surprised if they don't honor it somewhere down the line.

I have zero experience with a seperate preamp and power amp and could use some help.

I run a Markbass F1 right now, 500 watt digital amp. Is there a way that could use the Eden pre with the Markbass amp? Or would I have to buy a seperate power amp?
