Eden WP100 Navigator for $199?

I run a Markbass F1 right now, 500 watt digital amp. Is there a way that could use the Eden pre with the Markbass amp?

Yes, absolutely. In fact, that's probably one of the best off-the-shelf options out there for a lot of wattage in a very small package to be used as a power amp.
But the F1 doesn't have a Power Amp input, so you would have to run the Navigator in through the effects loop. I actually have an F1 as well, so I may try it too. However, I recall some extensive discussion on the MarkBass thread about doing this with an LMII, and the consensus was that it wouldn't work well. I cannot recall why.

I tried finding this deal with Firefox. No luck, price showed up as $699. Tried Explorer (an older version, as I'm on a Mac). Browser crashed repeatedly trying to access MF's site. Switched to Safari, price was now $199. So I ordered one at the low price.

I've been using a Navigator in the studio for the last 3 years. I love it, it's giving me the best bass tone I ever had. I paid $750 for mine new in 2007 (US manufacture), and was quite pleased at the time. I figure having a spare for $199 is a pretty good deal.

You can call MF and get them to credit you 30$ when they invoice. The GC coupon that ends today can be applied retroactively.

Just joined the "I got it for $169" club. I actually bought it yesterday but called today to have the GC coupon applied. "Schuyler" was nice enough but said they normally didn't honor GC coupons...yeah, right! I explained that I was not normal and due the accommodation. They'll credit back the $30 at time of shipment.

Yes the link worked for me first time with Safari. I didn't bother ordering one as I have no use for it.

I ordered mine last night so I just called MF as well to inquire on the GC $30 off...they weren't going to honor the $30 off since the item wasn't in stock but he talked to his supervisor and got authorization to do it. As stated above in a few posts, the discount will show when the preamp is shipped!!

Awesome deal!!

can never get it to read 199. Even tried the links people have posted...nada.

Update: tried it on Chrome - works. I've got a feeling this $299.00 list is the new price of this thing made in China with ultra-cheap parts...hence the shipping delay. We'll see...

I have zero experience with a seperate preamp and power amp and could use some help.

I run a Markbass F1 right now, 500 watt digital amp. Is there a way that could use the Eden pre with the Markbass amp? Or would I have to buy a seperate power amp?

Thanks.

Line out of the Eden ot the instrument in ofr the MB., Set the pad ON, on the MB. Bring the volume up SLOWLY ...

You can also run line out of the Nav into the effects return of the MB (assuming if has an effects loop of course).

Depending on the various unit's involved, one technique may sound better and / or be lower noise than the other. No rule there, I've seen it go both ways.

If I recall correctly, the description mentiond the footswitch and cable...

Go the GC coupon applied - Jeeze a Navigator for $169 ? Friggin' amazing if it comes to pass. Here's to hoping and oh yeah -

Wespaul... Dude, I'll owe you one for sure! Maybe we can get the admins to reface the TalkBass page each 4/2 as 'Wespaul Day' ...
