EHX Bass Mono Synth

Volume issues were why I got rid of it. I would set a preset to a decent level, or what I thought it was, and at both gigs I used it on, the sound dropped a ton, and I raised it manually, but still wasn't ever enough. I don't think the compressor had anything to do with it, just the Mono Synth. Get a C4, much more sonic options for not much more money.

Have you played the C4 with guitar at all? Saw a review saying it's not brilliant when played polyphonically. Ideally if I go for a more premium synth pedal I'd like it to be as versatile as possible.

Not too much, mainly because I'm a terrible guitarist. My guitarist did get one, he's been pleased with it, though I haven't asked him about chords. It isn't designed for polyphony for sure.

I took the plunge, bought the C4 without even being able to try it out. It's completely amazing, can't say thanks enough for the recommendation. (Anyone want to buy a barely used Mono Synth, boxed and everything? :) ) It's so much more than a mere synth pedal - spend the entire day going through and saving user presets. My thumb is aching. Who would have thought this would be so exhausting...

Only trouble now is that I need to invest in some kind of pedal to control all these presets, I see everyone recommends Disaster Area - is the DMC-8D still compatible with the C4?

What do you want to accomplish? If all you want to do is scroll through the presets, the DMC Micro is what I use for my Spectrum.
