EHX Focus: Your favorite Electro-Harmonix pedals

well.....I LOVE EHX firstly

Holy Stain my personal most fav

then
these
Nano Muff
Holy Grail
Vintage Poly Chorus
Vintage Worm
Frequency analyzer
Vintage Memory Man

and i know its not a effect pedal but i love the random tone generator

most of their stuff is garbage. sometimes decent ideas, almost always executed in asinine ways. with horrible layouts. it's like no one there actually plays the stuff in a live setting before they release it. and almost every single thing that's interesting has some ugly flaw that makes it pure blegh.

only thing they do that i like is the Freeze and the Super Ego.

so...... Freeze or Super Ego i guess. WOOOOOO. two right out of like a GILLYUN.

YAY.

Dig the Q-Tron (was my first pedal) and have owned a few through out the years but now I only have 2 BUT there are very important and won't leave the board

Sovtek Big Muff with Guttmouth Mods (bigger caps, true bypass, bias, gate and feedback switch

EHX HOG with foot controller

Qballs. Best sound and feature set, and biggest variety of usable tones, of any envelope filter pedal I've ever tried, and I've tried most of the top-quality ones. The Start/Stop frequency control, instead of just an up/down sweep switch, is brilliant. I love the huge range of the Attack and Decay controls, and the distortion/fuzz puts the filter into fat, vintage analog synth city!

Tube Blackfinger, Bassballs, POG are the ones I use the most.

I have owned Bassballs since it first came out about 30 years ago. Yeah, it's been around that long.
I always seem to wind up going with that one when it comes to envelope filters and I got several other filters. Probably just familiarity.

But lately the Blackfinger is the EHX pedal that seems to be getting a used the most in my home studio.

I have a some other EHX pedals but they are more like toys in the way I use them.
