I just put in a 4ohm eminence 15 that came out Ampeg BXT115HLF sitting around here. It did not sound good at all. I'm just going to order another stock speaker from Mesa. I not much of a "gambling man" on buying a 3015 and ending up disappointed. Thanks for quick response Chef. Over all my years here on TB I have learned to appreciate the wisdom and experience you share.

No it was not a 3015. It was a generic cast frame eminence with a huge ceramic magnet. It was just a "shot in the dark" anyway to check it out. I just did not want to go spend $160-$175 on a 3015 end up not liking it.

I am looking for the ultimate versatile and portable rig system.
I am buying an Atomic Amplifier and play Bass, Acoustic and Electric guitar.
Living in London space is a luxury and I will move mostly by public transport so my aim is to have FRFR Speakers that would work well enough for all instruments for when I cannot use In Ear.
For my actual budget as a temporary solution i was thinking about Alto Ts Speakers.
In Case should I go for 12 or 10?
And Active or Passive?
Remember Weight is an Issue....
Anyone there?

Dario, before replying to a post read the subject and date of the post. Neither resurrecting zombies or thread hijacks are recommended.
By whom? Assuming zombie threads are even a problem, the main side of it is people who see the bumped thread, reply to the OP and then complain about the revival. Well, guess what? They didn't check the date either. Goes both ways.
As for hijacks, they tend to fix themselves: if the OP is still around (s)he'll either ask the piggybacker to start another thread or welcome them to stay; if not, not.
