Epiphone Club

I've got an Ephiphone Les Paul Special I've had for about... 3 years I think? Wow now that I really think about it, I can't remember when I bought a lot of my older equipment, I'm still trying to get my own timeline in order lol. I'll post pics when I get home from work. It's nothing special, but it's served me well.

Had to get this Epi LP standard because I loved the top and it wasn't cherry burst for once. The headstock has the flowering vase inlay. Made in Korea Unsung plant of 2001.

Sure, why not.
I was thinking the bass would be a good one for biker bars and open mikes, but with a new early nineties Gibson case (bass fit like a glove thank god), pickups by Curtis Novak and new frets, I'm over a grand into it. But I couldn't bear to neglect such a nice looking bass.

Here are a couple 90's Epiphone Expert basses six string, neck-through basses with onboard preamps. I had enjoyed one of the second generation EBM-5 fretless basses which I later sold, but since I'd enjoyed moving to a fiver after playing fours for over thirty five years, I thought I might move to sixes at some point. They are 34" scale; I drilled the E and B string bridge point to make those two strings mounted through the body. Made in Korea, very nicely crafted.

They have very narrow 5/8" string spacing, just 2.05 inches at the nut, so since I have small hands I thought it wise to grab them. Wish they weren't so hefty, over 10 lbs. The one on the right is defretted, very sweet.

I just picked this up last night on a trade - haven't even cleaned it yet.

Appears all stock so I'll be researching the 'fixes' for the various issues of the EB3. It does sound good though so likely I won't have to do any electronic mods.
