Epiphone Club

Does anybody in this forum by any accident happen to have a spare chrome G string saddle (the one marked with the #1) for an Epiphone 3-point bridge, and be willing to part with it?

Nevermind my previous post - the friendly support people at Gibson/Epiphone were kind enough to send me the missing part for free! :)

Just added a nice little Epiphone EBM-5 to my "Epi" collection.

Wow, I've never seen that model before, what a nice looking bass. Congrats. :bassist:
If you don't mind my asking, how much did that run you?

These were around in the 90's I had one in powder blue and before that a 4 string version in the same red but mine had gold covers on the pickups too.
They were fantastic basses at their price point. I remember thinking how great the active electronics were at the time. Now that I "know better", I'm sure the same type of bass wouldn't catch my attention today, but when I was 17 I thought it was a killer bass.

Sweet! An Epiphone Club. I just picked up an EB-0 last week, last one in red they had in the store.
Was looking for a bass to put a Darkstar in. Originally was looking at a Squier VM Jaguar special and try making a Tractor bass.
But when I tried the EB-0, it just felt 'right' and went for that.
Other selling features I liked was the mahogany body n neck and how much they reminded me of the old Hagstroms with the SG type body and thin neck.
Plan on converting it to an EB3 style with the mudbucker in the neck and the Darkstar as the brudge pup. Don't know how well they would match but should be a fun experiment.

Anyone else don't like where the strap button is? Anyone try the upper horn instead?

I got a new Epiphone EB-3 SG to go with my Thunderbird
Actually this is my 2nd one. The fist one had a neck crack near the head, I had to return it after only 2 days.
But the next one was all good.
I did have to glue in the bridge nuts into the body because the flats I put on where pulling them out.
It has a great old 70's sound with Half Wounds flats and 60's sound with a pick and palm muting.
Example of song sounds:
Ventura Highway
Living in the past
War pigs and others.
Cant play all music with it but that's why I have my Thunderbird with Blue Steel rounds.
I lowered the action and raised the pickup screws some to make it hotter.
