Ever seen a dead Jaguar?

I wonder where the broken bass will end up after they take it back. Ebay? it would be cool to get it for cheap just to build a projecy around it, i would run the risk of body damage to have it.

This is such a hassel for you and is very unfair. Even setting you up with a new bass is not fair. Time is money and you are spending alot of time. This really pisses me off

I don't mind doing the legwork...as long as it gets me a new bass. I'm just job-searching right now anyways...if anything, this gave me something to do this afternoon :p

But if it just ends up with me returning the bass/amp and getting my money back, I'll be a little peeved. But mostly over the lost chance to own one of these things. I can't stop looking at it...the white is a sort of aged white...the brown tort just fits perfectly. The knobs/dials are better quality than I expected...the pearl inlay neck is a thing of beauty.
As the acting number-giver in the TB Jag club I truly mourn the outrageous murder of such a beautiful instrument.
I really hope things work out for you. I've given you #64 in the club 'cause I know you'll be rockin' that crazy old bass with lots of buttons soon!

Haha, thanks. I'll add that to my sig...but make it #64 and 1/2 :D

man....
I am excited mine will be here but i am not getting to stoked on it yet because i could see mine being just the same. I will be waiting and meet that UPS guy at my door that box better not have a mark on it. I dont have class tomorrow i got all day to wait.

Your were very nice in your responses.......i doubt i could be haha. I really dont feel like calling MF becuase i will want to chew someones ass out and its not the workers on the phones fault it some 42 year old lazy UPS work that dropped the bass off a loading dock.

Or, like former UPS employees have stated...played games with it:ninja:

The MF reps on the phone were very nice, and I stayed patient...but in the end, they only gave me two options...and like others have said, I think there are more. I didn't want to call again to get the same response, so I figured an email would do some good...plus, it's easier to document for my files.

That's ultimately what I am after, but I'm afraid that they're going to be out of white Jags. I really don't want any other color, but rest-assured...I'm going to be calling both parties until I have a new white Jag in my hands.

Further inspection shows that the pot shafts are bent, the other knob is cracked/chipped, and the knob control plate has a definite indention in it around the less damaged knob/pot.

Make MF give you the money back and let you keep the amp and then use the money to buy a white jag at samash.com for $600.

Thank you for this post sir. I've had a tough gear week. Bought an Ampeg 210SP that was busted, and then returned it for an Ampeg 115BAHPT which had a blown sub. Knowing I'm not the only unlucky guy on the planet makes me happy. :(
