Exactly how much does your Fender bass really weigh?

I have a dozen basses, only one of which is over 9 lbs. A Jazz. One is 6 lbs 11 oz. A Precision. <wink>

Frankenbass All Fender and Squier parts (really just a re-wired MP Jazz Bass satin with a Jazz Bass '77 Squier neck)

+9.11 lbs.

As I recall the MP Jazz Satin 5 was very heavy 11 lbs and up.... but this Bass (the only one I own or use now) seems on the middle of the weight scale to me.

I need to weigh all 7 of my Fenders as I have never done it. I am guessing they are all between 8 and 12lbs and I will weight them tonight as I really have no idea.

P.S. How much $$$ was the digital scale roughly?

I recently weighed my Fender basses at the local pack & ship just so I had a reference. Both basses have alder bodies.

1974 Fender Precision Bass - 8.6 lbs with the chrome bridge cover. The comfortable weight was part of the appeal...along with a few other things

1988 Fender Vintage '62 Jazz Bass - 9.8 lbs. I bought this bass new and always thought it was a bit on the heavy side, though not too bad.
