Exactly how much does your Fender bass really weigh?

Weight is important to me. I've weighed them using whatever devices were available including a kitchen scale that goes up to 10 lbs. My favorites:
2004 Am Std P: About 8.5 lbs
2013 Am P Deluxe: 8lbs 3oz
On Tuesday I will pick up an AVRI 63 P that will weigh just under 8.5 lbs when I remove the ashtray and pup cover.

I have two mim P Basses. One is 9.2 lbs. and the other weighs in at 9 lbs exactly. Funny that the lighter one has an up dated bridge on it. Both are wine colored with white pickguards and rosewood necks and other than the one with what I believe is a Gotoh bridge , they are completely stock. They do sound a bit different both amplified and un-amplified. Not sure if it's the bridge or just different woods. FWIW , the 9.2 is my main gigging bass.

I sent Matt one of my more troublesome '70's necks that is a little slim at the pocket and leaves unsightly gaps when bolted to a body. They are fitting it (no gaps) to a lightweight ash body for me. An otherwise great neck that just has not found a home...until now. I will put it all together when I get it back. I'll post up pics when it is done. Stoked for this project. Only missing pickups as I am hunting for a deal on some Aguilar 4P-60's.
Parts P bass - Allparts alder body with a Warmoth maple & pao ferro neck (w/graphite rods) comes in at 9.1#. Before the neck was changed it had an Allparts maple neck and weighed 7.25#. Everything else stayed exactly the same.
Can't imagine playing anything much heavier than what it weighs now. Had a EBMM SUB 5-string for just a few months that weighed at least 10.5# and found the extra weight just too punishing for my shoulder. It took months of physiotherapy to get past the pain.

Got lucky, found it at the Guitar Center in Redondo Beach. It was a demo, but still in excellent condition. Got it on clearance, with the brown tolex case and some candy, for $900, IIRC.
So where did you guys get the cheapest scale that's still reasonably accurate, and how much was it?
I bought this one from Amazon for $32. It doesn't get a ton of use, just weighing basses, but I've never had any issues with it.

You have two heavyweight beauties that weigh too much!I just bought one of these little gadgets today, for weighing parcels mostly, but I also used it to weigh all of my basses and thought that I would seize this opportunity to explore a few myths about Fender bass guitar weights:
I'm sure that, like me, you've seen posts on TB and ebay listings, concerning Fender P and J Basses, where the weights quoted range anywhere from 8lbs to 15lbs
I'd really like to do a "straw poll" with you guys and ask the question, "Exactly how much does your Fender bass really weigh"?
Now, this is science folks, so please, please, please .... only post a figure if you have actually weighed the bass yourself, with some form of properly calibrated weighing device (ideally, with results all in lbs), rather than just posting estimated weights or comments like "mine's not very heavy, actually" etc.

Please also post a picture of your bass, if possible and if not, post some details about the year of manufacture, body wood etc. Maybe this way, we can find out what really constitutes "heavy" in Fender bass terms
Finally, please don't include Fender "copies" in this (unless you clearly specify that it's a copy), as I am trying to discover "the truth behind the Fender myth" and not solve the mystery of "the great Korean poplar shortage of 1985"

Left: 1975 Fender Precision (ash body) - 11.2lbs
Right: 1976 Fender Jazz Bass (ash body) - 11.3lbs

My 1997 Fender Am. Deluxe weighs approx. 7.75 lbs.
My 2001 Fender MIM Deluxe is between 9.2-9.3lbs.
