When I first started hearing about signature basses, I have to admit I rolled my eyes. But then I went looking for a jazz bass and found a Lakland Skyline DJ that smoked everything in its price range that I tried--so I got over it. I've since bought a Lakland JO and a Glaub with a Dark Star pickup.

I'd love to try the Moon Larry Graham, because it looks so damn cool. Same with the Lemmy Ric, that thing is amazing.

My favorite is the Pino Palladino Custom Shop.
The weird thing is that I just noticed (I don't feel tardy) that Fender makes "signature" models that are CS and some that are not. As I have a Sting, you'd think I'd have noticed this earlier..of course that's a CIJ so....
Aren't most of the "signature" models mass-produced?
How many of them come out of the CS? (he wonders aloud....).

Yes, I agree.... if Fender ever produces the Carl Radle signature bass.... sunburst Precision body with blocked & bound rosewood jazz neck, I'll buy TWO of them !!
