I'm sure I'm not the first to bring this up but . . . . . where the fudge is Paul McCartney?

I'm certainly not the first to bring this up, but how can you complain about the lack of Paul McCartney, and not know that "Macca" - which is at the top of the list - is a nickname for that same individual?

Have we ever even listened to Esperanza?? She has the voice of a goddess and bass playing just flows out with no effort! Or is it because she plays that large, foreign, doghouse shaped thing that is separated to a distance corner of this site that we don’t venture to? I guess the question is favorite singer, not best singer...

She also plays that small 4-string thing that hangs off your neck by a strap... and she's great at that as well.

Been playing bass for 40+ years and have followed the careers of many, but have never ever heard of McCartney being called Macca?

I'm going to venture a guess that many/ most other bassists have not heard of that nickname.

So, I chose dUg Pinnick. I've always loved his voice from the early days of King's X to now.
