Everybody is on the hunt for the best prices on the Eminence neo drivers since the price hike happened last month.
Are you familiar with the Nidacore fEArful thread?Yeah and I have joined in the hunt. Has anyone used a lighter wood than plywood for the enclosures? I want to make it as light as possible but I'd probably have to add extra bracing right? If so would the added bracing to the lighter material offset the weight save?
Arauco plywood seems to be a good choice. If you have the cash, nidacore is tops for lightweight.Yeah and I have joined in the hunt. Has anyone used a lighter wood than plywood for the enclosures? Are the speakerhardware.com kits good value or are the parts cheaper to source separately?
I think it depends on your tonal desires. Kjung commented a while back that the Tecamp Puma 1000 is pretty much perfect for the 15/6. I recently bought (not yet received) a carvin bx1500 which I will pair up with a VT Bass (love the fatness of that pedal). Combined with the features of the bx1500 with the fatness of the VT, the 15/6 will purr nicely. Are there any amps which people have noted that work particularly well/poorly with these cabs?
