Which reminds me, I've got a party to go to after the hike. Duke, man, where are you?!?! I need my disco shirt back!

In regards to the home HI-FI option, I use my two 15/6s with Klipsch KP250s on top of them for canned music playback and it is fantastic.

I am using a DBX driverack PA+ to crossover everything (fearfuls are internally crossed too...). The PA+ gives you complete control of crossover points/eq/delay etc. The processor lets you choose nearly ANY frequency for the crossover, so I am able to use my fearfuls as the low/sub line and send a signal from 37.5hz all the way up to 2800hz. I don't think the speakers would sound near as good if you were limited to a more traditional crossover point (like my old Rane system did).

I am able to play back my Phish concerts and Mike sounds just like he should, only in my basement =)

Been using one of these for years to do all the speaker management stuff for SR gigs (Passinwind has done SR gigs with them as well), and for prototpying enclosures, and even for home playback. It's got a great RTA function too.

Peavey is really good at DSP. Hope to see that same quality in the IPR DSP amps, which are likely to be a killer way to fly for fEARful rigs.

If you want light, compact and less expensive, the 12/6 cube with the Alpha 6 is the place to start. (My $ .02, anyway) If you do smaller gigs and have PA support this cab does a fantastic job. Huge bang for the buck.

The 15/6 with the more expensive 18Sound mid is a bigger, badder version that puts out more sound.

They have the same width, so they can stack and they play really well together.

Once you get started on the fEarfuls it's hard not to build another.

Thanks. Might start with the 12 then since church and small gigs is what I do. Now to finish funding and begin gathering speakers and other materials.
