By any means am I trying to be sexist here. After a lot of years I just got back into playing and in my time not many females played bass. Now I see it's not predominantly a male instrument(not that it ever was). You can see I'm fumbling over my words because I don't want this to be misinterpreted. Mohini Dey just blew me away and I'm interested in what other artist you people recommend. Asking for a granddaughter.
If it hasnt been mentioned yet, Debra Killings. She rocks a Yamaha Patitucci 6 string like nothing..

I have to admit,watching a female playing bass,in a family Southern Gospel group,inspired me to want to learn to play bass guitar. Fast forward 44 years later,been playing bass ever since. She was playing a Fender Precision bass,was told by her and the family,get you a Fender Precision bass. And I did,wish still had it,1974 Precision Mocha brown.
