NBD! Just arrived yesterday! Special order Custom Shop 1968 Jazz Bass relic. I basically spec'd it out to all 1968 period correct specifications...."F" Logo neck plate, TV-style logo, single slot bridge saddles, paddle (lollipop) tuners, bound neck, block inlays, dark tint neck, etc. The only thing I did differently was had vintage (thin) frets as opposed to the standard medium-jumbo frets.

Yes sir. Team built. With basically spec'ing it all out to standard 1968 specs (save for the fret size), I was able to keep it within the Teambuilt realm...which obviously is a bit more "price friendly" than a Masterbuilt.

Beautiful! Nice appointments all around.
Just upgrade the tuners to Gotoh Resolite.. whole bass is 7,3 lb now. Can really recommend them anyone wanting save 0,4 lb on their headstock (and add some smoothness..).
What shop did you go through? And is that the standard Relic finish..? And what did you do with the pickups..? Did they have a stick late ‘60s wind? Did you go custom handwound..?NBD! I went through Sweetwater. I've been dealing with the same rep there for about 14 years. Yes, I went with the standard relic finish. As far as the pickups, I went with the standard custom shop '60s Jazz Bass pickups to keep costs down. The bass sounds just like you expect a 60's Jazz to sound like (I own an all-original '66 Jazz and A/B'd them).
Here are some pics of the final spec sheet from Fender that they sent to me to verify all of my spec's were correct before placing the order.

Yes it takes down 200g.
I took non reversed, they were available on used marketplace and they were reliced, which is quite rare here on Europe. It is drop in replacement, no need to make any modification.

The relic'd set looks outstanding on your CS bass! They match up perfectly!
Anybody here got any experience with a rosewood or a roasted maple neck...? I’m deciding between the two for a build...
