I would get black if I were getting one. Not keen on white pickguards on normal black Precisions but I love it on this one.

Definitely black. It would be even cooler with a white racing stripe too.

Again, the Thundertron is the appeal to me, here.

I have a very nice Valenti 5 string "55P" with a Nord side-by-side single coil, for the feel/tone you did there.

Though a side/side only gives up the humbucker, whereas the stacked in my tele does both SC and hum with a wee switch in a push pull tone control.

So-- put coil switch in this newnewnew for 13 Cab. The real question is how the repositioning of the pu to what appears to me to be the trad split p position does to the tone. I have become accustomed to the 51P/tele position over the last year or so, great for some things, not as good for others. Ha..maybe time for that Gibson bass that had the pickup on a rail so's you could reposition it while recovering from back surgery from wearing the 14 lb piece of maple..

AFA the sizzley sounding Line 6 dist in that demo video though..I like overdrive and use it everyday.. but that thing sounds more like a guitar center frizz tone then someone turning an amp up and playing.

Sounds good, but not a fan of the aesthetics.

Why do all of Fenders bass demos always have a guy only playing with a pick? I play with a pick too, but how about a little more variety?
