With a name like that, it better be Mexican! Seriously though, I would prefer Mexican-made.

Yes, I still have issues playing a Chinese Fender. I feel like they're re-branding a Squier and upcharging me for it. I've also been a little disappointed with the two (Chinese) Modern Player Teles that I've tried.

That's why I'm hoping it would be Indonesia and not China. Afaik, the Squiers are made there. I seriously think that's an upgrade from China.

If you do it - do it right!
If the bass is worth doing it - put a 'Tron in the neck and in the bridge position to have a triple PU bass.

Switching (with an ON/Z/ON - ON/ON/ON):
Up: Neck
Middle: Middle
Down: Bridge

This simplicity suits the Cabronita and would be the counter part to the 3-PU Cabronita CS guitar ...

The high mass bridge just looks "off" on this bass. I think that the high mass bridge they use on the MIA Standards would be as big as I'd go. The vintage style would just look better.

I think it looks really cool, but I'm skeptical of the pickup. I don't like muddy tone. I love the sound of the Vintage Modified Telecaster (standard version) in the middle position -- will have to compare these.

I would get black if I were getting one. Not keen on white pickguards on normal black Precisions but I love it on this one.

I can't speak Spanish, too ...
And as far as I heard Cabronita is "designer word" ...
But what comes next in German would be "das kleine Luder" / "die kleine Schlampe" -
or in English "tiny / little b*tch" ...

And I think that's a good name ...
No "Hollywood Beauty" (with contoured body, much chrome etc. like the Jazz Bass) but more a "simple rural beauty - or b*tch" ...

I went on and saw it for myself. That's outrageous, unverschämt!
There is no way that 719 Euros are ok. I don't get it!
Prices are usually higher here, yes, but $1 = €1 kind of high. I can put up with that. But charging 950 dollars is even beyond the MSRP sort of craziness.

1) Fender Germany is a 100% daughter of Fender USA.
2) Shipping 500 or more Cabronita basses in a container with ofter instruments to Germany doesn't cost $60. It may cost $5 per instrument.
3) Fender Germany (as a 100% daughter) could get the bass for the building price plus shipment and sell it with adding a "service & marketing price".
4) Taxes have to be payed in the USA as well as in Germany. The "Big T" has no other costs than American music stores, too ...
5) $1 is less €1 ...
For €599 there would already be about 20% bonus. So, we have to pay about 40% more for the same instrument ...
