Very cool !!!! That's the 1st Mustang I've ever seen with a Darkstar. Want to trade it for a DeArmond Starfire with Darkstars 
With that color, you could mount a refrigerator magnet wrapped in aluminum foil for a pickup and I'd still be in love!

Very true. If you attempt to mar that bass with the horrific mod you mentioned, it will have to be confiscated. By me.
Sweet! I have allways liked the mustang basses, but I just cant do the short scale thing.... Awesome bass, leave it the way it is....
I made a suggestion similar to this in the "mod a squier bronco thread" i just think its the equivilent of giving a midget a bazooka..its so bad ass ironicande rediculous that its almos impossible for it not to be cool. Either way you have to be insane or deeply badass to do this and i applaud you
Really cool bass! Leave it as is. The Dark star will completely overpower the Mustang pick-up. Your bass looks like a model that Fender officially put out. Well done!
