All these people complaining about neckdive without ever touching it. Lol

it looks very cool and the demos sound killer!

not a fan of the colors so much, but as always Fender will add more colors.

One thing I feel Fender needs to address is the price. $1,200 for a new and obviously controversial design should be a little cheaper. Prob around the $700-900 mark

I'm of the opposite viewpoint. I'm concerned they cheaped out on some components. Fender is clearly not positioning this product in their upper model lines. If it were priced against the American Professional II it it would have some weight. As it is I'm concerned it's just a cheaper product.

I want it!!! That being said, I'm a little floored by a Mexi Fender costing $1200 USD.

I thought that when the Meteora guitars came out the body was not scaled nicely, too large, but the size on the bass is perfect. A little heavy though...

I love the body shape, but everything else about it is awful: the paint job, the ridiculous bridge, the two giant pickups. Even the classic Fender headstock looks goofy attached to it.

Hats off to Fender for pushing the envelope...the price envelope, that is.
Here's hoping the regular Player Series basses get a price hike to $999.99 by year's end.

on Nate’s video I asked about the neck dive and he said “not bad. It’s not as balance as a p or j, but the meteora stays put”
I’m kinda intrigued.

You mean a HORRIBLE Pre-amp that wouldn't let you cut all the treble? Or the odd "coil" selections?

I like that you can put it in passive mode with a switch.. If it has coil taps it's a dream

I liked the Fender and Nate Navarro demos and the bass sounded interesting, so I took the plunge. In the end, I just got tired trying to figure out what pickups I would want for a Mod Shop P.
