Calm and polite, yes. But I'm sorry, I think you have been misled by that service manual and have confounded your facts.
I know my Rumble is heaps louder with the Drive turned all the way up.

Well, it seems that whatever is said there will always be questions. There's no question regarding 'facts' so called.
Some people still believe the Earth is flat, their choice.
So anyhow - I recently switched back to bass playing after years on guitar and needed a new amp. I use to gig with an SWR Workingman 15 back in the day - which was good enough for the small venues I haunted with various bands and then if more power was needed I could DI into the house PA. But I struggled with the weight and bulkiness of that beast. After reading the reviews online (including the input here) I settled on the Rumble 500 and gigged with it recently in a small bar. Fantastic little beast with the dual 10's as it cut through (as noted when I stood in the back and played cordless to verify). Thanks to all who posted their experiences here - helped a lot.
Exactly - for example, earlier he stated:

So, why is it hard to believe that his service manual cite isn't output specs at all? - and that Fender was being honest with their 200 watt rating at 4 ohms?

I find very similar info on the service diagrams for the Rumble 150 & 350. Here the 50ASX2 is the Rumble 150 and the 125ASX2 is the Rumble 350. I don't know what this means in relation to what you're saying but it's interesting, isn't it?
No, it just means that calibration procedures are very similar for older and newer Rumbles. Calibration values are not specs.
I honestly don't care much about wattage ratings - they are only one among various factors that determine the actual loudness. I'm more interested in GlennA's frequency response plots of the Bright/Contour/Vintage modes because they reflect what I hear (or think I hear) when I set them. And I also turn up the mid EQs a bit and lower the bass and treble to achieve what I think is a flatter response. I'm hoping to conduct my own tests, just for fun because, once again, as long as I can set it to sound the way I like, it's all good.
@GlennA , do you have one of those service sheets for the Rumble 25 v3? I know it is not a class-d amp, and I'll not get my strings in a knot if it isn't 25 watts.
I'm a bit disappointed....to often when someone says something remotely negative or different about the Rumbles... they are instantly flamed, accused of trolling, etc. What ever happened to an intelligent debate or civilized conversation? I did not interpret anything GlennA posted as trolling, or argumentative in anyway. I'm on TB and read the Rumble club daily and really enjoy the community....this makes me want to leave..
Believe what you want - but the entire thrust of his presence here seemed aimed at disproving Fender's wattage ratings, in a thread by Fender fans... Then, when it was pointed out how his methodology was likely incorrect, he disappears - which is a typical troll MO... I'll also note that Buzz E seems to be a bit gleeful at poking here as well... Now, if someone pointing this out offends you, that may be your problem...

Agreed with all of the above - I personally don't care about wattage ratings, as long as a piece of gear will meet my volume requirements, sounds good, and is reliable... However, I do like to see the truth be told...
