Fender Rumble Club

I sold my Ampeg svt 4 pro and ampeg 8x10 about a year ago and have been looking into the Fender Rumble series. I like the Fender Rumble 800 2x10 and I've read in here that it pairs well with the fender 2x10 extension cab and also the fender 1x15 extension cab.

So my question is which one do ya'll like better in the pairing with the extension cab? I've personally never played around with a 1x15 before but I'm sure it would crank out a lot more bass than the 2x10. Just looking for thoughts or personal experiences

My personal experience is that my Rumble 500 combo's 2x10s crank out just as much bass as my Bassman 115 cab connected to it. But I don't often need the extension.

Given the sound similarities many Rumblers let their OCD choose the 210 cab, which has the same dimensions as the combo. But others say their ears choose the bigger 115 cab. So, you really need to listen to them both for yourself, if at all possible.

Happy Fender Black Friday!

Rumble On!

Got it updated & have been fooling around with headphones since.
I'll get the MGT-4 footswitch out tomorrow & play with the looper.

I was surprised that the phone app does almost nothing, just a default EQ setting & connecting it to Wi-Fi.
Even using the tuner from the phone only works when the screen isn't locked. Once my phone's screen turns off, so does the tuner.

True enough about the app, however I've viewed it as mainly a portal for downloading new tones, and it's been easy to use for that purpose.

I'll admit I'm looking forward to your looping experience. I've slammed my plane into an iceberg every time I've tried to take it out for a spin. So, as a new player with plenty of more important stuff to learn, I find myself a bit gun-shy when ever I make eye contact with the footswitch.

I did the exact same thing over a year ago. Same gear, Ampeg 4pro & 810 cab. Got ride of em and replaced em with the Rumble 500 head and two rumble 410 cabs. Didn’t last long. Within a few months I went back to Ampeg. Something wasn’t there. Don’t get me wrong I love that V3 500 rumble head but the cabs sucked in my opinion. The head sounded better through my Ampeg 810. And well the 4pro kills all to me.

I've ordered a Roland EV5 expression pedal, so next week I'll be using the Wah & other effects.
Plugged my first new guitar in there today & was having fun with the "Filthy Bassman" model. Wow, so good!

The Studio sounds better with guitar than the "regular" 40, probably because of the horn tweeter.
The looper works fine as well. I'll have to dig into what the other buttons on the MGT-4 do later. (I mainly got it just to activate the looper.)

Question for you fellow Rumblers.....

I have an amp head that has only one speakon output for a speaker. The amp can handle a 4ohm load so I can use two cabs with it.

If I have two Rumble 2x10s am I able to daisy chain them to the amp? Like, use a speakon from the amp to cab 1, then a 1/4in speaker cable from the same cab to the second cab?

Yes. No probs, as long as both cabs are 8 ohm
