I was this way until I picked up a very nice 80’s Foundation bass awhile back. Never have liked the amps much though. Or the owner for that matter...

Older stuff is OK(pre U B)and I have a V-base mic stand I like a lot. Angles back so I don't need a boom.

Do people have experiences of the Rumble 210 V3 cabs as "standalone" cabs with other, non-Fender, amp heads? I'm quite interested in the 210, i love how it looks and the fact that it's light. Looking to replace my 4x10 Ampeg Portaflex with a 2x10 since i don't really need to have a 4x10 in my current band.

anyone ever changed the grille on their stage 800, from the black to the silver? …... I am SERIOUSLY considering gettin a stage 800 it appears to be the ultimate bass amp package for me drool

I wanted to change the grill on my 800. My only attempt at purchasing exactly matching Silver Sparkle grill cloth resulted in 'close, no cigar'. So, I changed gears...opting to built a new complete black grill frame w/ flat logo for the 115 cab instead. Now, my 115 matches nicely. I also have the original 'Silver Sparkle" frame available should I ever wish to return it to stock condition. I'd very much like to place the 800 one its side to get the totally symmetrical look, but I really dislike the controls on side. For me, controls are most convenient on top of the rig.

Just me and my opinion here... but I guess I'm not old school enough - I much prefer the black to the silver. I like both - but prefer the black. Though I can see the desire to have everything match.

You need to build a framework to fit on top of the 115 that tapers up to each side of the 800 and also holds it in place so that it doesn't vibrate offa the 115.

The only thing that vibrates and moves when I play loud is the entire first floor.
The 800 stays put. (rubber feet do the trick)

Unfortunately, print doesn't convey facetiousness. I have a R112 cab. It looks 'funny' under my R200c. It sounds great. I kinda don't care how it looks; it'll blow away the rooms we play.

Which effect are you using the expression pedal with?

Definitions.net call it grill cloth as do some amp manufactures. So, I guess either way is ok.


Re: your question...I use the expression pedal for complex analog adjustments of the amplitude magnitude.

I think I did find one, but never could confirm if they actually fit. Gave up too soon & now I've got a Rumble Studio 40.
I've tried using the expression pedal with effects & haven't found it exactly satisfactory.

At least it does have a nice, bright, 2 color LED.

Yes. In this case, all of your assumptions are correct if the horns are turned off. To be clear the applied power is inversely proportional to the cabinets impedance. If you had one cab that was 8 ohms and another that is 4 ohms the 4 ohm cabinet would see twice the power the 8 ohm cab would.

How do the horns factor in?
