Fender Rumble Club

That's a pretty impressive list of names in your sig line!

Man, I’ve just been very fortunate... and lucky! Funny that some of the folks I considered “Big” artists weren’t that great to work for. The ones I play for now- Good people and great to work for! Good time to be a bass player! :-)

The 800 Stage definitely needs a little help with the lows so far as I can tell. A lot of the problem is probably my room and all the bones rattling in the ducts though...
It's not hard to get the sounds I'm looking for out of it but it's definitely crying for bigger speakers.

Toss the matching 210 speaker cab under the Stage 800 and it makes a huge difference in low end.
Also, I've found the Clean Focus setting to be a great place to start. I've copied it and have a version with a little compression and chorus added, one with a little bump in the high mids and one with a bump in the bottom. Very malleable setting, also the Studio Pre-amp and Tube Pre-amp settings work well as a template to create your own tone.

Recently bought a Rumble 500 combo (2X12), and picked up the Rumble extension cab (also 2X12). I LOVE THEM!! One bit of advice needed though. I play both electric and acoustic/electric basses. Mainly AE for gigs. Needing some good ideas for a good low tone with the bass/mid bass/mid treb/treble. We mainly play 70's/80's/90's/2000's rock (only all acoustic). So I'm looking for a sweet low tone where the mid/high ends shine through also, and haven't been able to find what I'm looking for. Looking for suggestions. Any takers!?

Lovely looking rig, there, new Rumbler #1087! Sorry to burst your bubble, but those are both 2x10” speakers. I know the feeling, though, they certainly sound as big and full as 12", or even 15", speakers!

In fact, a Rumble 2x12" cab is the hope and dream of many of us Rumblers here.

We also have a collection of Rumble settings called The Rumble TONE POOL linked to the Rumble Wiki page, but I don't know if any of them were made with an AE bass in mind. Good luck there.

Anyone else running a preamp with their Rumble? I just picked up a SansAmp Bass Driver DI last night, plugged it straight into my Rumble 200 and WOW! I thought my Rumble sounded pretty good before but the SansAmp really beefed it up. It’s so good that I played it for about 20 minutes and then when I switched it off and played the Rumble by itself, I went ugh. Just sounded anemic on its own in comparison. I haven’t even tried running it thru the effects loop yet and bypassing the Rumble preamp because I love the tones I’m getting as is but I will experiment today.

Yep, I have the Tech21 duG Pinnick DP-3X that I use with my Rumble 500c (I actually use it with all my amps as well) and it totally transforms the Rumble. Rest assured, it transforms every amp...LOL

I like this little thing1004181334-00.jpg, but I'm fine with my 200c as is. And one less thing to hook up.
