Seems like there would be a better replacement option out there. Pretty sure the Eminence that I mentioned earlier is a better speaker than the original. I'm not sure who would be an authorized Fender service ctr here in the Dayton area, other than GC. Sorry, but I wouldn't take anything to those folks. Clueless would be the best word to describe those folks.
I got ya, I had completely forgotten about the pre/post stereo option. I have to do some experimenting now as I haven't explored these options much. I appreciate you taking the time to remind me and explain them.
Thanks G-Dog. Didn't know they were still in business. Used them many times when they were on Wyoming St. Good guys, but they were about the only game in town when it came to Fender authorized service. Probably who GC sends their stuff to repair. That was the case with all of the other music stores in town...of which there now are almost none. Sad state of affairs. Think I'll give them a call.
Just got a Fender Rumble 200 v3 again and I've forgotton how good it sounds and feels. My stingray sounds so good through it!

Anyone running the 200c with the rumble ext 15 cab? Debating if I should pull the trigger on a used one near me.
I have that set up but, sadly haven't played out with it. Whenever my wife leaves the house, I fire it up for 200 watts of pure 15" bliss. I then rush around the house putting things back on the shelves...the cat doesn't come out of hiding for hours!
I have the R500 head and two 1*15 rumble cabs. Sounds heaven! I am sure the 200c +1*15 cab will sound heaven too
Only problem with my setup is that it is just overkill for most gigs so I am actually debating if I should sell the head and the cabs and buy a second 200 combo instead. Then I could use only one 200 or both, depending on. And I would have that great 15-sound.
Or then I keep one of the cabs...
Or sell the big rig and buy a 500 combo... Or ?....
Or I just keep my big rig for the big gig and use 200 c for the more normal small venue gigs.
Or...??
Anyway, to answer you question, yes! You should pull the trigger, you won't regret it.
Just FYI, the 115 cab is bigger than the 200 & 500 combo, sizewise. Check the pix in the Extension Cab section of the Rumble Club Wiki page, linked in my signature.
Unfortunately, it's too much for some people's OCD, though they say they still get great sound with the OCD-approved matching 210 cab with a R200c, which I don't doubt at all! YMMV.

Yep, especiallycheck out the pix of the combos flipped on their side to closely match the size of the 115 cab. And if OCD is extreme, buy a matching logo and new grille cloth for the combo JMHO.

Wondering on the easiest way of recording onto my PC without buying a USB interface like FocusRite. Would an XLR to 3.5mm into the Mic jack on the PC work, or is it problematic? What’s the difference between that and going from headphone jack into computer’s MIC jack?

If you have a really good sound card, you can go XLR to 3.5mm for the line in. Built-in sound is normally so-so at best, especially via the mic input.
My new Rumble 500 arrived yesterday. I only had a little while to play around with it. The tone is definitely inherently different that other amps I've been playing.
I have a Q Strip that can shape a tone in any amp buT low and high mids will definitely help in shapping a good sound if I ever use it without any pedals..
It is light which is what I was after. Seems like it will get as loud as I need in most venues. I'm looking forward to when I can try it out in a safe public environment.
What I had envisioned is having an amp that will do the job; portable enough to put in the back seat of my car that I could carry in one hand, gig bag in the other, with a bass over my shoulder for easy small gigs.
I'm hopeful that this Rumble will fit that bill and more.
