Fender Rumble Club

I'm ~99.9% sure I won't be playing through 2 daisy chained R100s tomorrow. Outdoor jams and tropical storms don't go together very well.:rollno:
BTW, on the subject of watts, I'm happy to have the headroom of the 140W in my R200c, but I've never had the volume even 1/2(65-70W?). Has anyone run a Rumble full blast? Did it survive?
If I "need" to be that loud, I'll mic/DI it to the PA. And wear anti jet noise Mickey Mouse ears.

Waddaya know. Storm gone, open mic/jam on. Off to play through 2 R 100's-neither one mine.

Well I recieved my Rumble 500 combo today. It is amazing and sounds great! I forgot how loud this amp is. I tightened all the screws and debadged the combo. I love the way it looks!

I didn't debadge mine until I mounted my 40c on an angled rack. That plastic badge looks way worse at an angle than it does straight on.

I bought my 200c when the v3 series was released, before they raised the price $100 to: a) curb demand a bit, and, let's not forget b) profit from a very successful product. I have it mounted on a GRAMMA 2 pad, and didn't hate the way the badge looked, but removed it when I removed the one from my 40c.

Even at the increased price point, the 200c retained its excellent bang-for-the-buck rating.

I have a question about rumbles.
Or more specifically, maybe fender combos and heads in general. Well, I have stumbled upon people writing that the fender sound isn't anything special, that it's just clean without any nuance or flavor. What do you all make of it?
Personally, I like the rumble sound because it allows me to do whatever with it as I see fit.

Any opinions on the matter?
Thank you and rumble on!

Exactly. Start clean and modify as one sees fit(I don't).

“Clean without any nuance or flavor” is very special. I like it a lot.

I bought a slightly used 100v3 from GC. The price was low enough that even with a GC warranty, I saved money.

And now y'all got me thinking about that badge. Although what I really want to do is get several badges from different mfrs and put Velcro[tm] on the backs, and just trade them off any time I play out (whenever that becomes a thing). "Wait. That's an Orange? That's not an Orange! ... Is it?"

Update: only 1 R100. Still not mine. Set up for me by BL. Plenty for the gig, though. Big crowd-at one point we had about 12 people there.:eyebrow:
Man, I really wanted to hear your thoughts on the double combo daisy chain stack. I’m really sold on that idea.
I’m hoping to make a stack with two 150 watt 15” combos of an evil brand whose name I dare not speak here. :D
