Fender Rumble Club

Surprisingly I never thought I'd buy a black or red guitar. I always like the natural wood tops. I bought the new 1992 clear maple top Les Paul when they first came out for like 1200 bucks Westside music store in Santa Monica (I think that was the name of it ) for about 1200 bucks. A beauty, but this Black Les Paul with the coil taps ( now standard on the Standard Les Paul ) is really a beauty. I named it " nellybell".

Oh and thanks

Thanks everyone! I’ve got a bunch of extra pedals so I’m gonna make me a mini guitar board and try it out in the evening. Appreciate the responses!
There is no way you can damage that amp with a guitar in my opinion. Given that it is essentially a solid state amp you may want to set the voices all off and put an amp modeler pedal as the last pedal in your pedal chain, or run it in the effects loop. Have fun trying different options!
PS: I have played my acoustic through it and it is a very transparent, high fidelity amp IF you have the voices and OD off.

You're welcome!
I love that you've named it.
One of my basses is named "Zipper" after a pet lizard we used to have.
Also, you cleared up another thing:
I remembered them being around $1200. I took some time off from music and when I checked again, 2500-3000 was the going rate. I thought I was crazy.
I found this one in the TB classifieds. This is exactly what I would want.
@G-Dog
Please have the Rumble club buy this for me:
For Sale - 2014 Les Paul Std.

Well, good luck, A-a-ron, begging for gear here on TB. But, other than winning the next Rumble Club Trivia!TM contest prize of one schmillion schmackeroons, if & when the schmackeroons market ever recovers :rollno:, I don't know of another way for The Club to finance your G.A.S. At least, not where you could actually use it.

You see, there is this one case, currently winding its way through channels, for a major award to be made In Memoriam, which might possibly serve as a precedent for your case. But, I think you can see the biggest complication involved with that plan. Yep, that's right, it's putting in all those tens of thousands of hours of selfless Club/community service without a hint or thought of gain for yourself that generates a feeling of benevolence and good will amongst the membership.

Or there's always the possibility of an anonymous benefactor striking without notice. It doesn’t happen often. But, it has happened.

But I will create a new Club file category for your request; the GGG file, for Gratuitous Gift Giving. In case of any tremendous financial windfall requiring The Club to make tax-deductible contributions, or if John Beresford Tipton calls, this file will provide outlets for relief. Be sure to keep all your charitable institution paperwork up to date for that fateful day!

Good luck!

 John Beresford Tipton. Gotta be of a certain age to know that name.

I guess Publisher's Clearinghouse, or various lotteries, are the more modern equivalent, except for the secrecy clause. Though it appears some lottery winners wish there was a secrecy clause to keep from casting them as Santa Claus!

Yup. I'm an only kid, but I'll bet that if the Prize Patrol ever showed up, some 'long lost' siblings would too.
After typing the JBT reference, it occured to me they mighta used the same name in the reboot. IDK.

Well, sir, it can’t hurt to try, you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take, never give up-never surrender and other cliches too numerous to mention.

I WILL keep dreaming my friend...
