I think we all get used to watching this stuff or reading along the thread on our phones. Something like this is hard to hear clearly on a phone.
Connect you phone to some headphones and the volume of the bass is just right.
Of course I always think the guitar player needs to turn down! Lol

I created an empty patch on my Stage 800 which I store at #001 and it’s totally void of any effects or volume. From the footswitch I just select this patch when I need to mute the amp at breaks etc.

Rumble 100 will get workouts on Friday and Saturday nights at the Ft. Pierce, FL, American Legion and Jensen Beach, FL, VFW respectively. Also, breakfast at Harry's* on Sunday morning. 3 gigs in 30 hours this time. Pic is at the JBVFW.(I'll be using a different "amp stand".)

Finally got around to taking a photo of my Stage 800 so that I can officially join the Club!

Also, here is a photo of the amp with its Roqsolid cover. I can’t recommend these covers highly enough. I’ve used them for some years now, they really are very well made covers, very hard wearing and give great protection by the nature of the materials used and the internal padding. As can be seen from the 1st photo the cover is strong enough to stand up on its own!

Sir! My background is as follows sir!…
Former semi-pro bass player in a local rock band in the Phoenix area circa early ‘90s. (I got paid a few times, that makes me semi pro, right?)
Life happened fast, hard and without lubrication. Yes…it hurt.
I relieved myself of all musical duties for approximately 2 decades. Give or take a few days.
My now 18 year old daughter, having been regaled with the tales of my past endeavors, decided to follow in dads footsteps. She is currently learning both bass and guitar.
Helping her learn these new and exciting skills reminded me how much I loved playing.
Now present tense, I am relearning my chops and replacing the gear I sold off all those years ago.
This is my first experience with any Fender bass amplification and aside from the heft of this unit, I’m quite impressed. For a decade(?) old combo amp, it’s in great condition and sounds great. I really like the distortion circuit and I’ve ordered a footswitch for it.

The one closest to the amp is a heavily modded Squier precision pj. Next to that is a new addition Gretsch short scale followed by another new acquisition and my current favorite, a Sandberg Electra VS4. Not shown are a SBMM Ray5HH and my “beater bass”, an Ibanez Gio

Out-STANDING, Captain! Inspection reveals your TB Signature is all squared away, high and tight. Deployment of an 8 to 11 year old amplification system shows initiative and resourcefulness. And a 20 mile double time hike with that in your ruk will definitely fulfill all PT reqs. Your dedication is exceeded only by your professionalism. You're obviously bucking for a field promotion to Major, or better! But, beware your mission objectives, sir, as you're quite likely to attain them!

Division shrinks have noted your life priorities among the very highest! Recruitment of future generations and their induction into the hallowed traditions of musical service to their country displays leadership of the highest calibre. Predictions indicate that not long after your own ascendancy to the Joint Chiefs that we'll all be saluting her!
