Howdy boys... I just want to make sure I got this right... I have an 800 HD, a rumble 210 cabinet, and a bassman 15 cabinet. I leave the switch on 8/4 ohms when I hook up both cabs right?
That's right, doggy. The Rumble 800 HD, like the R500 & R200, automatically switches between 8 ohms and 4 ohms. You only use the switch for total impedances less than 4 ohms.
PS: Even though both those cabs are rated 350W on paper, the same 2x10" speakers being in the Rumble Stage 800 means they can actually take 400W. But, not so for the Bassman 15 cab, so don't crank it when using that cab.

And southern Florida is the lightning capitol of, if not the world, at least the U.S. I've spent lots of time sitting in planes at Miami Int'l waiting for ground crews to come out of hiding after nearby lightning ends.
