Fender Rumble Club

I heard there's a Fender Rumble club. :) Here's my new Fender Rumble 500. All the amp I'll ever need. I already had the ampeg, but I don't think I need its power. But it's nice to have if I ever end up on a big stage outdoors.

There's also a Combo Club [1]. With an Ampeg and a Rumble, you're a natural borned fit!

[1] You might want to skip to somewhere near the end. Or maybe you want to read over a thousand pages. How would I know?

I am probably late to the game, but did you guys see this:

your Rumble Club Wiki page

Not at all, Notorious B.I.G.! You are actually the first to bring this new model of Rumble to our collective attention!

The
NEW! Rumble 800 combo's top 3 new features:

1. A new FULL/LOW (¼ power) OUTPUT Power Attenuation switch!!! A first for the Rumble line, though recently pioneered, with a few more levels, on the Tone-Master Twin, Deluxe and Super Reverb guitar amps.
upload_2022-9-8_15-21-2-01.jpeg
B. A new IMPEDANCE SWITCH to match either an 8 ohm extension cab OR a 4 ohm cab (or 2 x 8s)!! This the same as the on the Rumble Stage 800 combo, supporting a total speaker Impedance of 2.67 ohms, counting the 8 ohm internal speaker load. Not quite the 2 ohm load that the Rumble 800 head can do, but "purty dang good fer a combo"!

iii. And new 2x10" NEODYMIUM SPEAKERS help to shave a few more pounds off this combo's weight. Although it's the same size as the 36.5 lb.s R500c, the 34.5 lb.s R200c and the 39 lb.s 210 cab, the R800c is only 29 lb.s!

So, I'm gonna have to update your Rumble Club Wiki page to include this new model. Y'all please be patient with me on that, OK? And thank you, @BigDrew, for bringing this exciting new Rumble 800 combo amp to our attention.:cool:;):smug:

Taking a break from soaking up the new A/C (tree fell on my old one!) and playing with my new Rumble 40!

Left to right: The Fender Rumble 40 that I got today, Warwick Gnome i w/ TB110 and Ashdown Studio 8.

I've been playing around with the controls and occasionally comparing it to the other two amps.

Of course I'm still on the NRD Honeymoon stage, but so far, it is definitely a keeper!

So does this mean it’s 400W with no external cab? Doesn’t seem clear on this?

That's right, 13. 400W by itself. 800W with either 8 ohms or 4 ohms of external speakers. Enough to take on the big venues.

OR, flip the OUTPUT SWITCH to LOW and it's 100W alone or 200W with 8 ohms or 4 ohms of external speakers! Great for small venues, too! :woot:

See the Rumble 800 combo manual for more clarifications. ;)

Thanks for the manual, G-Dog!

Whoa…this is pretty exciting too!

Tube with a NEO 15”. B-15 anyone?

Holy Guacamole, Drew! You've done it again. Where do you find these? I thought I searched the Fender website for new stuff after your Rumble 800 combo scoop yesterday. But all I found was the new Princeton Reverb Tone-Master guitar amp.

This Hot Rod looking styling made me think this ACB-50 was another guitar amp. But, no, it's not a guitar amp, like the confusingly name Bass Breaker amps. It's a bass combo, but not a Rumble. It's a tube bass amp, but it's not a Bassman.

I think the ACB-50 is actually a boutique recording/small venue/quiet stage amp. Real tube power and growl. Vintage mid-scoop channel and modern flat channel. 15" Eminence Neo speaker. XLR Out & Ground Lift. Lightweight(? 55 lb.s!) cab. Accepts an 8 ohm extension cab, for 4 ohm total, but still just 50W either way. Shmancy! :smug:

But, for about the same price as the ACB-50, I believe I'd prefer two Rumble 800 combos. Either one, or two, R800Cs at 100W for recording/small venue/quiet stage, or at 400W for intermediate sized venues, or at 800W, with (2 or 4!) R210 or R410 cabs, for stadiums/arenas!!! :woot::bassist::hyper::drool:

Yes, I'm with @G-Dog on this. I'm sure that the ACB-50 has a beautiful, lush tone, but even with neo speakers, at 55 pounds (per the manual) I wouldn't be hauling that around much. Still...

I am really really excited to hear this one. I'd love to have this as a home rig...although it may be a bit overkill!
