I've been reading from the sidelines on Talk Bass for a long time and decided to join. Here's my Rumble 200 and 115 cab, I got them both used ( a few months apart) and they've both really been great. They even came with the Fender covers and the ext cab has the pop in rollers. The Rumble 200 alone was good, but adding the 115 cab really ups the volume and tone greatly. I'm wanting to get the new 800c non effects combo, for the lighter weight and improved DI functions. Take care, let me know if posting is how I join the Rumble club?

Hi everyone, I can purchase a rumble 100 V1 for 90€, in order to play at home and eventualy with a group for rehersals.
For a low budget what do you think?
I've got a mini precision that don't sound good on my 100w fender guitar amp.

I don't know what 90 Euros equals($100 +/-?)*, but if you can test it and everything works, it's probably an OK deal. It'll definitely sound better than through a guitar amp. Or should.

Yes, it's like 97 dollars.
It's the less expensive offer of this amp in the used market here. I'll try and buy it if it's in good condition.

Yes, it's like 97 dollars.
It's the less expensive offer of this amp in the used market here. I'll try and buy it if it's in good condition.

Sounds like a pretty good deal, if it all works well, Greg. Just don't expect the lightweight of a V3. And the furry covering might not look as cool as when it was new. But that 15" speaker with 100 watts behind it can sure sound sweet! Bonus points if the red light in the bottom port still pulses to your playing!!

I play through a Rumble 60 (not mine) at band practice but haven't had much time to play around with the controls yet but I'm not loving the tone. Does anyone know if the tone settings for a flat response are the same as the v3 settings in the Rumble Wiki?

Well, lowly, the Rumble Talks on your Rumble Club Wiki page has a couple of links that might help you. The one near the top on Gain Structure is very good, and the one just below the middle on Overdrive, Gain, Drive & Level is excellent!

Thanks for having me ! I'm near 60 years, I have been playing bass since I first bought a Fender Precision when I was 14 years old. Several years back, hurting for money I had sold a Hartke amp head and 2x15 speaker cab so didn't have an amp for a while. I started to jam with some friends again and needed an amp, so researching amps I saw the Rumbles. Weight and convenience are certainly factors. Maybe I'd prefer mesa, but holy $$.
I bought a Rumble 200 combo used from fb marketplace for $250 ! Like new, the guy had the Fender cover also. I liked the combo but read an article saying, it's better with the 115 ext cab. So I found a 115 cab used same way local for 250 and bought it also, same thing like new with the cover. For what I paid the Rumble system has really been great. I hear lots of people saying you need at least 500 watts, but the 200 combo and 115 ext cab, has been more volume than I've ever needed.
Eventually I'll get the new 800c without effects, then I'll have more power than I can ever use !

That is cold for there! Did you wear gloves? I find biking or other gloves without finger ends work great for such weather.

For those not familiar with FL WX, it's not so much the temperature as it is the humidity that soaks right into you and the fact that most of us don't buy moderate weather gear we might wear 4 days outta the year.
