Greg, perhaps getting and learning the cabsim software can do what you want? I dunno. But, maybe?

These days I'm just way too busy studying up for the Grumpy Old F.

... ... ... oh, don't get me started ... ... ... I wasn't looking for louder. For the unplugged acoustic jam next week, the Rumble 15 is plenty loud enough, but the speaker rattles whenever I play through it. I've even tried a replacement speaker. It is a perfect size, and I just wish it were up to the quality of all the other Rumbles at a much lower volume. If I had a 40, I'd take it instead, but I don't. I do know the 100 will undoubtedly do a fantastic job! Still contemplating getting a 40 someday anyway. Everyone who has one seems to love it.
I sent them an email asking for quotes for covers for my Studio 40 and my NI S61 Mk II keyboard. They never responded.
Question for rumble 100 owners, I’m sure it’s been discussed already but are people happy with the top end / highs on Rumble 100 v3 combos? There is no tweeter, so I’m wondering if the speakers used provide plenty of clarity?
Thanks
I understand that there is science behind it all and I agree that it is all necessary and good. I read the entire thread on upgrading the speaker and ports in the R100 and ended up just scratching my head. I trust that other people have way more knowledge about speaker/cabinet design than I do because they do. I just wish there was a single post that condensed it all, explaining the correct speaker and the port tubes length and which walls to put acoustic lining inside. When I said I don't care about the science, I only meant that I don't need to understand the technical data to follow basic directions. But then again, I'm not really unhappy with my 100 as it is.
That's me!(the basic dope)If nothing else, a simple table showing Rumble model, speaker inserted, port size, and comments on the effect. Once you have a good solution for adding a Bassline SB2012 (or whatever it is), people who just want to speaker swap don't need theory, just the basic dope.
The video link includes a start time of 6:53.That's funny! Ampeg Rumble. For those of you who just want to hear the slip-up, go to about 6:50 in the video. Thanks, LeMaartien!
I wish I'd noticed that. I started the video at the beginning. The video link includes a start time of 6:53.

Whereabouts are you located?Played my first live gig with my stage 800. (church gig) It went well. Had to turn it down a bit, but was able to D.I. post effects out. Got a nice Bassman tone. It never cut out, or gave me any trouble.View attachment 4958798
Hello Rumble team. I just joined the club with a new Rumble 500.
I've been ampless for the last 4 years or so, my main classic rock band playing through the FOH and using in-ears. Since we own our PA this has worked great and I haven't missed having a bass amp. But we are now booking some small local festivals where we can't use our PA so I've been searching for something gigable again that can hold its own with marginal or no PA. Also will be helpful for a monthly church gig I do.
Did a lot of research, played some other brands and played a friends smaller Rumble, loved the tone, saw the reviews here on TB and decided to go ahead and pull the trigger without even playing the 500 first. I can say I'm more than satisfied so far. This thing packs a punch. First gig with it this coming Saturday. If there's still numbers being given out I'd be happy to take one.

After a long, frustrating battle with my Rumble 15 and its annoying rattle, I think I have finally got it fixed.... ... it is now rattle free ....
... ... ... It now deserves its very own picture......with the old fiddle because, “Everybody wants to get into the act!” (Jimmy Durante)

So Rumble #3 showed up today (the 2x8). I built my stack from 3 used purchases. The 112 was the roughest of the bunch but now restored.. Hec, the whole stack cost me like $600 plus the individual shippings from 3 different sellers. but well worth it.. What a sound and looking forward to trying a set of Roundwounds next on the Mustang - just for grins. The Mini P bass sounds huge through the rumble stack.

I put my Rumble rig together from 3 used pieces. A Rumble 350 head, a Rumble 2x8, and a Rumble 1x12. I really like this rig.
It sounds great with just a cord between bass and amp. I'm sure I will eventually find something to try that I like like maybe a reverb pedal.
