I recently acquired a used Fender Rumble 500c, and I’m getting very low volume compared to my 800c Stage. In fact, I’m not able to be heard over a drummer and 2 guitarists using 200w Boss Katana 2x12 cabs… I’ve learned from reading this clubs posts that the gain is better high than low, but I’m not getting a good response either tonally or volumetrically. Is it me, or did I get a warped one?

Yep, it may be that you got a dud of a R500c. While not quite the powerhouse of the Rumble Stage 800, it should be fairly close in tone (if using a Rumble-based Stage pre-set) and volume. Is it new, or used? Either way, it's time to return it. A new one should qualify for a warranty replacement.

Thank you and I’ve added the FRC # to my signature, as well as noted the modeling/non modeling separation.
The 500c I picked up was used, so a warranty return will be a no go. However, I have a fairly good tech close by that is a certified Fender tech, so maybe I can get him to trouble shoot the issue.
As for me, I’m a 40+ year experienced Bassist/Musician. I’m an amateur luthier and own Spoon Custom instruments where I focus on 5 string bass builds, but occasionally venture to 4 strings, or even the odd strat or tele style guitar.
my Rumble journey began in 2018 when I got my first Rumble 800c. I loved it, and it crapped out on me before a show within the first 2mo. So, after the Warranty replacement I’ve never had another issue. I use the 800c for small-medium shows and add either a Fender 4x10 cab or an Ashdown 8x10 for large or outdoor gigs. However, I’m leaning hard to going with a Rumble 1x15 v3 to round out the bottom end, and ditching the 8x10 all together.

Well, returning a used purchase is reasonable when it isn't in good working order!
So, you're another satisfied warranty customer? Good to know. Too many don't bother with that, preferring to just complain to everyone else instead.
If your tech is well & truly Fender Certified then he should be able to get parts and repair it to spec. But don't be surprised if the cost, + used purchase price, isn't more than a new R500c! Get an estimate first, in case you would rather get a refund from the seller.
The 4x10 & 8x10 cabs must sound awesome with the Stage combo!! But, beware that the Rumble 1x15 is not rated to handle the 400 watts continuous possible from the Stage. It is 300 watts continuous and could require very significant Master turn down, due to non-linear controls, to prevent damage!!!
You might ask your tech if he knows how much power, in watts continuous or RMS, the Stage could put into a single 8 ohm cab with the Stage's Impedance Switch set to the 4 ohm position. I've read that it's less than 400, but haven't gotten any reliable estimates at what it should/could be. 
OR just save yourself some worry & weight and take it from this ex-15"-snob, my 2x10 R500c combo sounds just as good as my Bassman 115 Neo cab; same rich, full tone! All current Rumble cabs are designed to sound good together. Get the matching "350 watt rated, on paper" 210 cab (actually the exact same speakers as in your Stage carrying up to 400 watts.)

Are both speakers working mate?
You probably know this but the speaker grille is easy enough to remove by pulling the tab.
If you want to post a good pic of the speakers we could look for damage, there's some eagle-eyed forum members here aye.
Sorry if this has been asked before but has anyone here used 3 cabs with their Rumble?? I use the Rumble 500 and extension 2 x 10 cab. I'm by no means no expert on amps/cabs, just wondered if anyone had added another 2 x 10 or other.
I think the 500 has an 8 ohm minimum, if you added another cab it would be 4 ohm load and probably not good for the amp. However, the Rumble 800s can run down to 4 ohms, you could run 2 ext cabs

The 500 combo can drive one 8 ohm cab, but not a 4 ohm cab.

I use a rumble 500 combo and 2 X 10 extension. Plug my board into the Amps return and it sounds boss, love the clarity of the speakers! Yes I d like to be in the rumble club please!

You can do this with a 500 combo, but you'd have to run two 16 ohm cabs in parallel (needs an adapter or special wiring) or two 4 ohm cabs in series (needs special wiring to meet the external 8 ohm requirement others have mentioned.
I played bass for 19 years before finding the Rumble. I had a heavy amp for years and in 2019 and If i'm being honest, i searched for a lightweight bass amp that was loud! I went from ampeg which was heavy! Rumble was so light and sounded big, i eventually went from my pedalboard into the amps return and it sounds awesome. I love the clarity of the fender speakers they are epic. For years i just went from bass to amp, now i've fallen down the pedal rabbit hole! That is my brief story of playing bass... Thanks
