Fender Rumble Club

Gee, I dunno. But, like most corporations, 7ender is notoriously secretive about their marketing plans, strategies, reasoning, etc. Like, whoa! ... y'know, what's that aboot, eh? šŸ¤”
Just FYI, here's where someone else was looking for a Rumble DI with all the settings. 🧐

Yes, well, that kind of rationalization can be made about anything, really. Why doesn't Oreo make a persimmon jam filling? OooOooo! Persimmon Double Stuf!!! Naw, it would cut into sales of their regular Oreos & regular Double Stuf, ... and Thins, ... and Lemon flavored, ... and mint, and red velvet, and Birthday cake, and carrot, and peanut butter, and cinnamon bun, and ... so on and so forth. šŸ™„

Simsalabim! Your wish is their command! 🄳

Too bad neither the Mustang Floor pedal, nor the Mustang amp head, caught on enough to continue. Maybe then we would have had Rumble pedals or Stage & Studio heads by now, too! Dang marketplace! Always ruining good ideas. 😫
They won’t mind if the pedals (or cookies) cut into other sales IFF the new offering income at least offsets the drop in the sales of existing products. In the broad sense, not just this week’s profits.

I have a Rumble 40. It's great, it's in my office/spare bedroom. I want to buy another amp for the basement. I'm considering another Rumble 40. Is there a benefit to owning 2? Can they be daisy chained or used in other creative ways with each other or should I look for a different model?

Need to step up to the R100 to get FX send/return for easy chaining.

You'll need to look for a different model, as @SharpCat said. The R40 can't be used that way.

EDIT: OOPS! @G-Dog has described below how you can indeed connect them. My bad! Thanks G-Dog.

Howdy Fros. @Froski, you are now member #1851 in the Fender Rumble Club. Congratulations and welcome to TalkBass in general and The Club in particular. Put that number in your TalkBass Signature for safe keeping. Then make yourself at home here and on your Rumble Club Wiki page, the repository of all Rumbling wisdom and knowledge.

For most Rumbles connecting one FX Send to the other's FX Return is the easiest preferred method. However, the regular R40 combo doesn't have an FX Send or Return. But there are ways to connect them, by using XLR Out on one and the Input on the other, for example. OR, if you're so inclined, adding a Rumble 100 instead would give you one FX Loop to ease the connection a bit; and it's the same width to make a nice looking stack.

Say, how about telling us a bit about yourself, such as your bass experience in general and your Rumble journey in particular? You'll fit right in here since we have all kinds. But we all love to ... ... ...

Rumble On!

I've rarely seen the question asked. Maybe once or twice in the past 5 years?

Most amp companies don't produce such pedals while the amps themselves are still in production. I doubt any third party besides the likes of Behringer (whose products I refuse to buy) would do it as Fender would almost certainly throw lawyers at them. And I doubt there are *that* many people who'd buy one while the amps are available at reasonable prices. Some, but not enough (I suspect) to make it worthwhile except by a small volume pedal maker.
Several do.

I think the fact that there is a trend toward amp-less stages with PA's, monitors, &/or IEM's have increased the sale of pedal preamps (and pedalboards) to a fair degree.

So, to do that, @G-Dog, one would need one of them XLR-to-1/4-inch converter plugs, or a cord made with XLR on one end and 1/4-inch on the other. Correct?

Agreed. Our first gig with a new band was at a pretty divey bar, but it was all run through the house PA. Each position on the stage had a DI input box and monitor. So, if you want to control "your" sound, you definitely need a preamp box/pedal board. Also, a lot less stuff to haul around.

My local GC has some of the ivory Rumbles in stock.
Where is that?
Guitar Center and Musicians Friend are now advertising the R500c & R25 in ivory online!

As G-Dog mentioned, Guitar Center. The specific location I mentioned [was at] is in Louisville Kentucky.

This dog said GC & MF online. We've had several anecdotal in-person sitings, like this Louisville GC one, but I posted the first US online siting I'm aware of.

I picked up an ivory Rumble 25 from my local Guitar Center in the St. Louis area a few days ago. They also had an R500.

I was hoping for a 40 or 100 but they don't seem to be available at this time. I listened to the You Tube video that compares the various Rumble speaker sizes, including the one in the R25 and it sounded pretty good for its size.

The R25 is working out just fine for my low volume practicing and learning songs on You Tube, and goes well in my living room.

Rumble on!
