Fender Rumble Club

Welcome to the Fender Rumble Club, ausbassman! :woot: You are member #478 :hyper:
Just look for the Tone Pool post and you'll find a link to suggested tone settings. It just got started yesterday, so it will take some time to get rolling.
 Rumbles Rock! :smug:
After much decision making I have paired my Rumble 500 head with an Aguilar 410 cab, sounds awesome, off to band rehearsals so will be able to push it a bit.....

Playing tone roulette on my little practice amp...start em' early! :smug:

Hey guys, is there anywhere I can discuss buying new basses with members of the site? Looking for a good partner for my Rumble 500 and my MIM Jazz Bass is just not cutting it for me.

I use the following basses with my Rumble 500 combo:

MIM Jazz (with Fender reissue '62 pickups)
MIM Geddy Lee Jazz (stock)
MIM Nate Mendel Precision (stock, comes with Duncan SPB-3 pickup)

I can get all of these basses to sound fantastic through the Rumble, but they all require different EQ settings, especially when going from the Jazz basses to the Precision. Anyway, I wouldn't count out that MIM Jazz just yet, you might get some more mileage out of it with new strings or even a pickup upgrade. Are you looking for something along the lines of the Jazz bass or a different tone altogether?
