The info in the Play Store says it's version 3.1.0 updated June 22, 2020. And my installed app says I've got version 3.1.0, build 7239 and the Play Store doesn't give me an "Update" choice. So, maybe I automatically got the update back in June when it was updated?

I agree, beni. But I've been using Fender Tone 3.0 on my android tablet since its initial release back in the spring. In fact, most of those are Invalid Link Removed.

Check the bottom of the Settings page, Dook, for version 3.1.0. You may have already gotten the update automatically, too. Or did you get a notification to update?

I did get the update choice, so update was successful! Anywhoo - I'll get a chance to see what's new live and in person a little later this afternoon.
I actually installed the app for the first time just now and mine said "3.1.0, build 7239" but only after I stared at that impossibly small text for a few minutes... Luckily the app itself seems nice and usable
That's why I like to use my tablet. Old eyes.

So many updated versions, don't think we're in Kansas anymore...
I have not checked the amps, but it looks like the two grayed out FXs are new. I only have the bassman amp and the reverb at the end, I hope it is just a bug that gets resolved soon so we can try these. Any one else has the same issue?

Versions may just become as mysterious as serial numbers...maybe different versions are being tried just to see who complains first, or the least?
Perhaps iPhones get 3.1.1 and androids get 3.1.0? Anyone see any difference from that?
And there may be different build numbers for different models, at least for iPhones, if not androids? I dunno.

Hey G, when I searched Fender tone on the Google play store it didn't give me the option to update. Just the Uninstall or Open App.. but from the My Apps and Games tab on play store it showed the option to update the Tone App. Try that way, if you haven't gotten it worked out.
Seems like the tone app starts bugging out hard for me when an update is nigh. I had to reinstall the other day because it kept giving a sign in/check connection error when trying to download presets.
