I really like the red. It is something different from Fender.I look much better with a Precision that's black and maple, and a black pickguard that's trimmed in white instead of red, but I do like this one, too. It's a little different.

How wide is the nut?I played one. The matte black is very nice. The neck was really too chunky for me but that's just personal taste. And it sounds like a p bass.
