I'm not totally sure about the EV 15L enclosure. Its a mid-late '80's Fender Fullerton cab and I don't think its a TL606 type design (its bigger than the other TL606 spec boxes I have seen like the Bag End or older Mesa Powerhouse 1x15's). It's on the larger side as far as dimensions go, which helps with low end extension using the EV 15L which is not a super deep low-end driver. It sure delivers the low-mid thump though and sounds great with the Studio Bass amp.

My gigging season is just starting to warm up this year. No gigs in Jan, 4 this month, and 5 in March so far (off we go). This will get plenty busy by May.

I've been taking other rigs out so far (Mesa WD800 and a Berg NV212t primarily), but I expect to have the Studio Bass and newly modded EV 15L cab out eventually.

my super twin head has been my 'go to amp' for the last year and a half. i play it thru my 215 3015 cab that i designed and built myself. out of all the amps that i own (and have owned), and i own quite a few, it's my favorite sounding rig.

What you started a club based on how great the amp sounds but your not even using the factory setup??????..guess they're not so great afterall..confused..

Don't be confused
amp is great
cab is tippy as it is shallow..and won't get that loud....so best for the studio
Guitar version combo has the same amp but with reverb
So remove the amp from the combo and fit in its own case...You have an amazing Tube bass head that rips and sounds incredible
sit on top of your choice of speaker cab that works best for the head

yep, this exactly. I have used my Studio Bass thru a variety of cabs, most of which are probably better fits than the original combo cab which, aside from being narrow and tippy was probably a bit undersized for the driver.
