FIFA World Cup 2014

Huh! Scotland's got as much chance of winning it as either of you two deluded little nations ie none!
Altogether now,
"We're shi' and we know we are" :D
I'll tell you why we have half a chance I'm serious now kids play in youth leagues then middle school high school and college we don't have farm system like barca but kids competing fortheir schools and a lot of them same as any sport

Guys, I don´t know if you saw this, but Mauricio Pinilla from Chile tattooed his hit on the post on the round of 16 match against Brazil.

I don´t know... to me it´s like tattooing the girl from high school that never kissed you, but is his skin, so...

I think one of the reasons to get a tattoo is to commemorate an important experience in your life--positive or negative. He'll be dreaming about that shot the rest of his life, so it makes sense as a tattoo. Strange that he went with text in English. Where is he from?

We have a chance because we are American and we believe we can do anything. Very few people in this world believe they can win the world cup, and believing is half the battle.

Man, our kids have been kicking football's around streets and gardens since most of them could stand...my daughter has been playing organised club league Gaelic Football since Under -8.
Kids football clubs here and in Scotland hold trials for membership, even in the local Bogtrotters FC Under 8 team, it's competitive to even join the club never mind get in the team....We have school teams all the way through at all levels in addition to clubs...We have official FA sponsored coaching courses, summer coaching schools and camps....neither Scotland nor Ireland have their names on anything other than match programmes.
I don't know what it is about, but it's not about structure and youth systems.

Yep, the psychiatric wards and prisons are full of people who believe they can do anything .....because, well because they do.

And realistically, the players don't believe it...They are professionals and whatever anyone else might think, professionals tend to have a realistic understanding of expectations and limitations.

When you get people such as media whipping up this "We can win this because we can" stuff, you end up with a self - perpetuating toxic environment of unrealistic expectation such as we laughingly see around the English national team. Every time.

You won't win because you think you should.
