Not really pushing it....use it mostly at home. However, my old cab was a 15in with no tweeter. For comparison, I keep the tweeter dialed down (around 9:00 to 10:00) on the Fender cab and I like it alot. Seems to bring out the "sparkle" just a bit on the LB.
Hey man, do you now anything more about this?
Is it a prototype, or is it planned for general release?...

The CTM-15 was definitely pretty cool (and under $500, as I recall), but I was also impressed with the makeover that Ashdown gave to the MiBass head:

Well, you could probably get an older MiBass head (which had that same preamp) at a discount, now that the new one is out.

also - depending on cab - what applications can this be used for? Small-ish gigs? I'm not great with my tube wattage conversions. Mostly cause everyone has 100w tube or bust.

+1 to the much better looks, but they took all the unique features out?
The eq section before would have been great, but a fixed mid and no other way to change the character is a non-starter, imo. Maybe I missed something?

Dan said that most of the feedback they had received was that the prior control setup was too complicated.
I would agree, I think the new look and simplified layout is a lot better. I would much prefer a low mid as I said, but I could probably live without it, I've got a lot of preamp in most of my basses anyway
I just may sell on my Promethean Combo to pick up one of these...

In regards to the CTM-15, all I'm going to say is that I put my order in.

It seems the CTM15 is really designed for a beefy yet articulate distortion. Kudos to Ashdown for coming out with what, to me, is an interesting product.
