HA HA HA HAH HAHAAH A, you are, as always, the man!! and i love the diaper full of sawdust, I think I might use that at clinics from now on!

I'll be at the booth on saturday.... was going to be there a bit more during the week, but we're in rehearsals for a tour and are starting every day around noon....

Headphone distribution sounds like where it's at! no more noise police problems! Respek!

Easy,

Janek

I'm putting my Monarch new Standard up on eBay this weekend.
I was told the board was kingwood by the dealer I bought it from.
The website says they come in rosewood or maple.
Anyone know if they used kingwood around 2005?
Can't say I've heard of kingwood but it looks as if it's a kind of rosewood.
Thanks.

I think the Beez Elite I posted has a kingwood fretboard

I have a very good buddy with an Emperor Elite 5 with a Kingwood board and spalt maple top that I've played many times. Nice board. Reminds me quite a bit of Morado/Pau Ferro in look, tone and feel.... a bit harder feeling, smoother and shinier than most rosewoods, and as a result, a bit more presence and attack.

Nice board material IMO... similar to Morado, the look of a 'true' rosewood, but with a bit more snap and 'glassy' feel like maple. IMO and, based on a sample of one instrument, IME!

This is a luxury club. Congratulations to all for having the best basses in the world!! I have a question for some time, wanted to know if early Singlecut designs for basses were made by Fodera?

Here's the new concert rig. Thunderfunk 750A with two Bergantino AE 410s. Bought the VW Classic in 03 and haven't put it down since.

I played through a fellow TBer's Berg. 4x10 and Thunderfunk head the other day. It sounded amazing. I'm definitely getting Berg. cabs next.

The Thunderfunk works incredible with the Bergs, seems like the perfect matchup. Over the past few months before I purchased the Thunderfunk I experimented with a few different combinations. GK RB-800, Trace Elliot and Alembic Pre-amp through my AE 410 cabinet. These speakers sounded awesome with any amp combination and have worked well in every room I've played so far.

You'll love em!!!!
