With the excitement of NAMM and the new models, I almost forgot to ask about this.

First, that is one great looking Fodera you've got there. It is extremely appealing to me and just the kind of bass I'm sure I'd go nuts over.

So, how do we go about checking out the new album? :D I'd love to hear this bass in action.

Will be ready in a month or so. Stay tune :)

Meeting Jason, Talking to Mike, seeing the Fodera booth and getting to check out Janek's clinics were one of the highlights of being at NAMM this time around.

I took a handful of pix during my time at NAMM last week/end, I have them posted in a couple of the albums on my facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/jairajswann).

Jason,

It was great for Amy and I to meet you in person and talk for a while. Thank you for spending the time with us.

Congrats on the booth, the releases that took place and great performers that got up and played.

thanks. nice meeting you and i was also glad to hear you play on friday night. wish we had more hang time. no plans for the the southern east coast, so maybe next year at namm-age. (i'll try to get darren to give me a slot next year.)

Jason, this new YY std paint pattern is a good way to cut some costs down, and this one leaded me to think if this "painted" YY pattern can apply to other model like Imperial, etc for those who interested in owning a fodera with YY pattern but not a monarch?

At present we have no plans to offer the painted Yin Yang pattern on any other instruments...

Regards,

J

It was my pleasure!!! Always wonderful to put a name and a face together.

Thanks for sharing some of your valuable NAMM time with us.

Just a question about short scale basses(33"):
Is there anyone youtube-able who goes B-G.(in the case of a 5 string instrument).
Just wondering how the bottom B sounds on such a bass as compared to, say a 35" equivalent.

Jason or Mike, is the truss rod accessible from either side of the neck?

That is one of the coolest Fodera butterflies that I've seen.

What are the current differences between the standard and deluxe models of the NYC line?
and, what are the options for both? there is no detailed explanation on the fodera website.
Also, the two 5 string deluxe pictured on the website featured a flat headstock, but the 5 string deluxe reviewed by bassplayer magazine had an angled headstock. How many neck option there are for a deluxe then? thanks.
