Were you still able to get the muting system worked out for your new bass? I remember you describing a system that would mute the bass by causing a short between the strings and one of the neck bolts.

Another question...
What were the reasons,for choosing titanium as the bridge and truss rod material and what are , in your view, the benefits that set it apart from other materials?(aluminium comes to mind as one other lighter than brass material...in case weight is amongst the reasons)

Okay, heres my new baby!
its a '06 NYC deluxe 5-string. Original Pope 2-band pre-amp, tilted headstock,brass nut and "all black" hardware! it also came with see-through pickguard, but i prefer white one
Also, it doesnt have that butterfly inlay like new ones have.

This probably isn't kosher, but I got these in the mailbox from my dealer today, as the guys at Fodera wanted to double check a few details (and I'm very glad they took the time to do that!). They're just a few quick photos taken to compare some details- the wooden pickup covers are someone else's- but it shows what the instrument will look like, roughly.
Holy crap!! The guys at Fodera are awesome. I've never been so excited for an instrument. I can't wait to hear it!!
