Just a quick question, my frien has a Fodera NYC with Mike Pope 3 band preamp in, so just a fast one, what does trimmer inside do? I have MG model, so is it the same from inside?
He said there is just one trimmer....

I have NYC also, And that trimmer is for Active output gain.

I believe its a Hipshot bridge. I know Janek likes his string spacing tight.

I am pretty sure it is the same Hipshot Narrow bridge that I have on mine. I have my bridge string spacing set at 16.5 like Janek's. I also had to have Narrow Seymour Duncan Dual Coils made as well to accommodate.
I love the spacing... and only wish I could have done it this way 20 years ago.

Hi Guys! I would like to ask, everybody plays jazz?
I'm curious Who, in a what kind of genre uses the Fodera baby.
(I use Funk and Fusion Jazz. I'm actually not a Jazz player...)

String spacing: On the Imperials 20mm is the standard... And I like it!!! ;-)

Janek's spacing is actually 17mm according to his previous post.

On both my Presentation custom and my old Aj dual cutaway 6 string basses the spacing is 20 mm. I double a lot on upright, and the wide spacing makes it easier going back and forth.

I thought that I remembered reading that his basses are set up to have equal distances between the strings, not equal distances center to center. I could be wrong though. Jason should be able to tell you.

My Fodera is the first six string that I've had with 19mm spacing. I love it though! With the size of my hands it is a lot more comfortable on my left hand. The right hand took some getting used to (to be expected), but I couldn't go back to a 18mm six string after this bass.
