He said that while the holly in the pictures looks white, it is, in actuality, an off-white, cream type of color. The more you accent the contrast, the more it looks whitish or creamy; if you use a black fretboard (ebony) and/or black hardware, it looks more white; using a rosewood board, and/or gold hardware, it takes on a more cream hue. I did not ask I'm whether holly ages toward a yellow hue.
1+ ! I really find it funny that the colour of my Holly bass is nearly the same as it's the colour on my wall where my basses are hanging
