Mmm.. So the TKS body should be slightly smaller than a normal EII?mmm.. Hopefully there'll be vid's from Namm 2014 soon.
The Tommy Kennedy body is 'downsized' a bit from the standard sized Emp II. I've played Tommy's on occasion, and also one of his student's Emperor II , who ordered the smaller body size with the standard pickup placement, versus Tommy's 'stacked close to the bridge'. Zero issue with size.
The Fodera guys are really firing on all cylinders. I always loved the idea of a bolt on single cut (ala the Skjold Whaleback). You get the advantages of more body mass while being able to keep the body small, and eliminate the issue of clamping that one side of the neck all the way up to the 12th fret, which on rare occasion, can cause some issues.
