Help! Things to do in NYC!!!!

I will be picking up my new Monarch Custom in a few weeks and was hoping for some music related things to do in New York between Feb 23-25. Along the lines of 55 Bar would be cool.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

This is my favorite spot in all of NYC....

Definitely go to 55 Bar as well. Great place to see music. Don't forget about Brooklyn if you have the time. So many great places in Brooklyn.

Poor Jason! I just emailed him 5 minutes ago asking for a progress report or some kind of pic. No idea how he puts up with us.:D Collectively we must drive him bonkers!

I just wanna see that they didn't screw up and make me a lefty 7 string 36" scale 26 fret passive 1 pickup painted pink bass!

Smalls is a great spot to check out. I caught Avishai Cohen (trumpeter) there once, and Harvie S another time.

I have always liked Medeski Martin & Wood. Be cool to see John Medeski play live.

You mean your bass wasn't supposed to be 42" scale?!?!

Uh-oh....

In Fodera-related new, I'm happy to announce the arrival of the new nostatic album - "Time's Up". 10 songs, with side 1 (old school thinking) consisting of studio tracks, side 2 is live. This is the "sparse lineup" of vox/sax/bass/drums that I've been working with for most of the past year and a half.

It is available on iTunes and CD Baby, should be up on Amazon soon.

Been a labor of love, and worth checking out as our vocalist (featured on 9 of the 10 tracks) is awesome.

Suggestions from a semi-frequent californian visitor:

Luzzos or grimaldis for pizza. Ideally both.

Marrays bagels.

Burger joint in the parker meridian

Intrepid sea air space museum (i have not been but saw it one night from my hotel -- looks amazing)

Sadowsky guitars :)

+ Katz's Deli on E. Houston....my favorite place to eat....it's unreal. Plus that whole area has music clubs on practically every corner.
